“How to Promote a Film” course

Description of the program

A theoretical and practical program for those who want to comprehensively understand the process of film promotion. We will go through all the stages, from strategy to promoting the film for the Academy Awards.

Lectures are conditionally divided into 3 blocks:
1. PR in cinema: creating a strategy, promotion tools, working with the media, promoting grant projects.
2. Social networks of the film: SMM strategy, finding a unique Tone of Voice, classification, launch of social networks, targeting, and reports.
3. Festival promotion of a film on the example of the Oscars campaign.

The program How to Promote Cinema will be interesting for producers, directors, those who would like to promote films in the future: PR professionals, SMM professionals from other fields activities or beginners in the field of communications.

Speakers will build presentations on practical cases, share experience, knowledge, and professional secrets.

The Q&A section is an integral part of our meetings. As well as practical tasks and review of your projects’ pages on Facebook and Instagram.

Goal of the program

9 lectures lasting more than 23 hours, 9 speakers, and 5 weeks of training. During this time, you will be able to understand how to promote films and why it should be done not only before the release; how to make a strategy, why it should be comprehensive and how to achieve results; how to find your target audience, how to get interest from media and establish cooperation with them; how out of the box works for a brand and loyalty; what should be taken into account during the PR of the grant project, and lots of other useful information for your project.

This is how the idea of ​​this program was born, in which we will show and talk about the possibilities of PR and social networks.
