Terrarium is a platform for scriptwriters where they get help to develop, refine and complete their scripts.
Following a first life as a sailor fascinated by mathematics and an interrupted PhD in philosophy at the Sorbonne, he graduated from the CEEA in Paris (the French conservatory for filmwriting) in 1996. After writing and directing awarded short films and on-stage experiments in Paris and Prague, he co-wrote the 3D animation series Ratz, worked for independent cinema with various directors like Atiq Rahimi or Lucile Hadzihalilovic, and won the Gan Foundation Prize as a writer in 2005.
In 2006, he created LE GROUPE OUEST in Brittany/France, a European Film Lab that has become n°1 place in Europe for coaching writers or writer-directors in development phase in residency (more than nine-hundred writers and filmmakers from 50 countries coached in the last twelve years). In 2010, he co-created the Cross Channel Film Lab experience with the UK, and founded LIM (Less Is More), the Media supported European development platform for limited budget feature films, cocreated with VAF (Belgium), Poland and Romania. Since 2007 also, he has been a pillar tutor/script-consultant for TorinoFilmLab, as well as for NFDC in India (Film Bazaar), Interchange in Dubai, DFI in Doha among others.
He’s been asked in 2017 by the Head of the french CNC to conceive a new frame to boost new talents creativity and script development for film in France.
Since 2017, he’s also back on the bumpy road of writing scripts.
